2024 VA disability compensation rates

How the table is calculated
This page replicates the VetPaycheck formula exactly, using the VA published schedule for 2024. Ratings of 10% and 20% pay a flat rate with no dependent additions. From 30% up, the app picks the row that matches your situation (veteran alone, with spouse, with one child, or spouse and one child) and then adds the "each additional child" amount for every child under 18 beyond the first. The result is rounded to the cent.
The 2024 schedule takes effect December 1, 2023. Not modeled here: dependent parents, a spouse who needs aid and attendance, children over 18 in school, Special Monthly Compensation, combined-rating math or benefit eligibility. Check the official VA tables for those.
